Griot Book Series
Three books about the life around the camera. Family, friends, travel, and the everyday become a continuing photographic record.

The beginning
A love letter
to everyday life.
The first Griot began as a forty-eight-page love letter to life, family, friends, and photography. Making it meant following the work from black-and-white film through sequencing, editing, design, and independent publication.

The continuing record
Three ways of looking.
Griot begins with black-and-white photographs of life, family, and friends. Griot: The Fly on the Wall moves through friends, family, public figures, New York, and Paris. Griot: Against the Sky brings quiet family photographs together with movement, celebration, distance, and return.
